There are many pet and pet supply purveyors in Burbank, but Peggy
Wood’s is unique. It is a family-owned business with an experienced staff, which has been an active part of the Burbank community for more than 50 years.

We are committed to being an integral part of the community and consistently participate in and contribute to local fundraising efforts and events that help purchase materials for schools and also help fund after-school programs for Burbank’s children.

Peggy Wood’s both hosts field trips to the Pet Emporium for pre-school and elementary school children and also visits schools with a variety of pets for the students to meet. The children learn about pets, pet care and engage in questions and answer sessions.

In addition to these presentations, Peggy Wood’s instituted a school approved Community Service Program for middle school and high school students, part of which involves walking the puppies.

We know how important contact with pets can be for those living in retirement homes, so we bring some of our animals for regular visits to the residents of these homes.

Being part of the Burbank community has always been important to us, so if you have not visited us for awhile, stop in and say hello, and if you have never visited us, come in, we would love to meet you.
